The first CASA meeting of the year was a GREAT success. I would like to thank everyone for coming and a special thanks to those people who shared a little bit about themselves to the group. I am really looking forward to learning more about everybody else in CASA. If you have not had the opportunity to meet me or the officers then please come to my office (284L) as our goal is to know everyone in the club on a personal level.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday 9/9. Please give a post to let the officers and members know if you'll be there. Try to think about a committee you would like to be on. The committee's are....................
1) announcments and commercials
2) flyers and posters
3) Dead day
4) decorations
Each officer will be the leader of one of the committee's and we will work together in order to make RED Ribbon Week as powerful as possible. Also, we will break into groups to discuss themes for Red Ribbon Week. If you have an idea please speak up. Everybody's opinion and ideas need to be heard. I look forward to meeting everyone this week. If you are having trouble posting please stop by my office and we'll get you set up.

I thought that today went very well. I really liked what you guys did with the questions and the human knot (oh-so CASA :) I wanted to let you guys know that I am going to be there at the next meeting and hope to see everyone we saw there again. We had a great turnout, and although it was a bit hot and sweaty, it was still important for everyone to be there. The more the better :D Maybe we can help some people at the school with problems, I know that CASA helps me not feel so lonely :D
Those committees all sound so exciting, I'm not sure yet which one I will be on, but I can't wait!
